5. Your account

You must sign in to use Vigil Today. You are responsible for protecting your account credentials and any activity that occurs under your account. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us at [email protected].

6. Your data

You control the data you enter into Vigil Today. You are responsible for the accuracy of information you provide. Calculations based on your data — including inventory counts, usage estimates, and scheduling projections — may be incorrect. Do not rely on these calculations for critical decisions.

7. Inventory and product tracking

Vigil Today lets you track counts for personal consumables such as supplements, filters, coffee supplies, cleaning products, personal care items, food staples, batteries, and other household items. Inventory counts displayed in Vigil Today are estimates based on the data you enter. Vigil Today does not guarantee:

Accuracy of inventory counts
Correctness of usage rate projections
Timeliness of low-stock alerts
Delivery of restock reminders
Accuracy of replacement-cycle calculations
Reliability of any notification
That tracked items will be available for purchase when needed

8. Product links and affiliate links

You may save product links for items you track. Some links may be affiliate links. As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases. Affiliate links do not change the price you pay. Vigil Today does not sell, fulfill, or process purchases on Amazon or any other marketplace. You are not required to use product links saved in the app.

9. No ads and no behavioral tracking

Vigil Today does not show advertisements, does not sell your personal data, and does not use behavioral advertising. We do not share your data with advertising networks. We may process limited operational data to provide and maintain the service. See our Privacy Policy for details.

10. Optional paid AI/MCP connector

Vigil Today may offer an optional paid connector that allows supported AI assistants — including Claude, ChatGPT, and other MCP-compatible tools — to interact with your Vigil Today data. Possible capabilities may include reading your reminders and inventory, viewing low-stock and replacement-cycle summaries, adding purchases, marking reminders complete, updating inventory, and creating new items. Vigil Today is not responsible for how third-party AI providers process your data. Review your AI provider's terms and privacy policy before connecting.

11. Subscriptions and payments

The Vigil Today web app is free. The AI Connector is currently free during early access. Paid subscriptions are not active at this time; payment processing is being set up. Existing users will be notified before any paid tier is introduced, and these terms will be updated to reflect the active payment processor, billing rules, and refund handling once that happens.

12. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

Abuse, overload, or disrupt the service
Attempt to bypass security controls or authentication
Access or attempt to access another user's data
Upload or transmit malicious code or content
Scrape, crawl, or systematically extract data from the service
Reverse engineer or decompile the application
Use the service for any illegal purpose
Use the service for regulated, critical, or medical applications

Vigil Today may change, break, slow down, or become temporarily or permanently unavailable. We do not guarantee:

Continuous or uninterrupted availability
Error-free operation
Delivery of any notification
Retention of your data indefinitely

That any feature will remain available

We recommend keeping your own backup of important information you enter into the app.
