Vigil Today is a personal reminder and inventory tracker for things you use, replace, restock, or repeat. It is designed for personal use, not team task management.
Personal reminders
Set reminders for recurring personal tasks and routines. Examples include: take a supplement, drink water, replace a filter, check a household item, complete a daily habit, or follow up on something. The main screen shows what is due, what is overdue, and what needs attention — at a glance.
Inventory tracking
Track how many you have left of things you use regularly. Examples: 60 vitamin D pills, 3 replacement water filters, 30 coffee pods, 12 electric toothbrush heads, 1 faucet filter cartridge replaced every 6 months. When you complete a linked reminder, the inventory count updates automatically.
Restock reminders
When your inventory gets low, Vigil Today can remind you to reorder. For example: you have a 60-count supplement that you take once daily. Vigil Today tracks how many are left and reminds you when it is time to restock before you run out.
Replacement-cycle reminders
Some items need to be replaced on a schedule, not just when stock runs out. For example: you have 3 water faucet filter cartridges. You replace one every 6 months. Vigil Today tracks when the next replacement is approaching and whether you have a spare on hand — and reminds you when it is time to reorder before the next replacement date.
Product links
Save a product link for any inventory item. When your stock is low, a Buy again button appears on the item detail page so you can reorder quickly. Some product links may be affiliate links. As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases.
No ads
Vigil Today does not show advertisements. There are no sponsored placements, promoted products, or ad banners. We do not sell your data to advertisers.
No behavioral tracking
Vigil Today is not built around advertising profiles. We do not track your behavior across other websites or apps. We do not share your data with advertising networks or data brokers.
Personal use only
Vigil Today is a personal tool. It is not a team project manager, not a business inventory system, not a medical application, and not suitable for critical or safety-dependent use. It is for personal reminders and consumables that belong to you.
Privacy-oriented design
Your data is scoped to your account. You choose what to enter. If you prefer not to use real names for personal items, you can use generic names or descriptions. Vigil Today does not require you to enter sensitive health or financial information.
Optional AI Connector
An optional paid feature allows supported AI assistants — including Claude, ChatGPT, and other MCP-compatible tools — to interact with your Vigil Today data. You can ask things like: what reminders are due today, what items are running low, what do I need to reorder this week, add a purchase, mark a reminder complete, register a new product, or summarize my inventory history. The web app works fully without the AI connector.
PWA web app
Vigil Today can be installed as a Progressive Web App (PWA) on your home screen. Push notification behavior depends on your browser, device, operating system, notification permissions, and network connection. Vigil Today cannot guarantee delivery of any notification.
Not for critical use
Vigil Today is a casual reminder and tracking tool. Do not rely on it for any situation where missing a reminder could cause harm — including emergency, safety, legal, financial, compliance, or healthcare contexts. Always consult a qualified professional for decisions that matter.
